Katy started her photographic career at the young age of 12 when she started selling her work at local stores.  "I am lucky enough to have parents that truly believe in me and want to see me fulfill my dreams."​​
 

Until starting college at the Art Institutes International - Kansas City at the age of 35 Katy was mostly self taught.  "I would read every book I could get my hands on and suround myself with

Turning her attention to studying illustration and typography, Katy is now making her drawings part of her portfolio. "The best part of being an artist  is when I get an idea and I can actually bring it to life."
